The FP15 High Head Rest is a versatile positioning aid designed for examinations requiring a greater degree of elevation than standard low-profile blocks. Manufactured from premium-grade, open-cell white foam, this block provides a stable and comfortable platform for the head, neck, or extremities, ensuring the patient remains perfectly still for high-diagnostic clarity.

Clinical Utility & Applications

With a 10cm height, the FP15 is engineered to provide additional lift, helping to maintain a neutral alignment for patients with broader shoulders or those requiring specific anatomical tilt.

• Cranial & Skull Imaging: Ideal for AP, PA, and lateral projections of the skull. The increased elevation helps to align the radiographic baselines (such as the orbitomeatal line) perpendicular to the imaging plate, which is essential for accurate diagnostic measurements.

• Lateral Decubitus Support: When a patient is positioned on their side, the FP15 provides the necessary height to support the head and maintain a straight cervical spine, preventing lateral flexion and improving patient comfort.

• Extremity Elevation: Beyond cranial work, the FP15 is a highly effective "booster" block for elevating the knee, ankle, or elbow, helping to clear the anatomy from the imaging table and reduce superimposition.
