Clinical Applications & Versatility
Lower Limb Elevation: The 45cm length provides ample surface area to support the entire lower leg or thigh, making it ideal for venous insufficiency studies or post-operative orthopaedic imaging where the limb must remain perfectly still.
Torso Stabilisation: When placed behind a patient in the lateral decubitus position, the FP010 acts as a firm posterior buffer, preventing the patient from rolling and ensuring a true lateral projection.
General Support: The 20cm height provides significant clearance from the imaging table, helping to move the anatomy of interest into the primary beam while avoiding superimposition from the surrounding table structure.
