The FP78 CT/MRI Knee Support is a premium positioning aid specifically designed to enhance patient comfort and diagnostic accuracy during extended scans. By providing targeted elevation for the lower limbs, this support helps to neutralise the spine and reduce involuntary patient movement, making it an essential tool for any high-volume CT or MRI suite.

• Lumbar Spine Alignment: By raising the knees into a semi-flexed position, the FP78 helps to flatten the lumbar spine against the imaging table. This effectively reduces the natural lordotic curve, alleviating lower back pressure and significantly increasing patient comfort during long-duration MRI sequences or complex CT reconstructions.

• Reduction of Motion Blur: A comfortable patient is a still patient. By providing a stable, contoured base for the legs, the FP78 minimises leg tremors and the "fidgeting" often caused by lower back discomfort, leading to higher-quality, artefact-free images.

• Large-Scale Stability: The 55cm width ensures that both legs are fully supported without the risk of the limbs slipping off the sides of the block, even during table movement.

• Fluid-Proof & Wipeable: The multi-stretch technical coating is 100% waterproof, preventing the absorption of sweat, contrast media, or other clinical fluids. It can be rapidly and thoroughly decontaminated between patients using standard hospital-grade disinfectants.

• High-Density Internal Core: The foam is engineered to support the weight of the lower limbs without "bottoming out," maintaining the required elevation for the duration of the scan.
