While we have made every effort to ensure that the figures provided represent an accurate estimate, they should be understood as calculated values rather than guaranteed finished-product weights.

The calculation is based on the measured area of fabric used, representative sample weights of the radiation-protective core material, and estimated allowances for ancillary components such as fasteners, clips, hook-and-loop material, binding and other fittings. Physical sampling of completed products has been undertaken and has provided a reasonable level of confidence in the relative accuracy of the methodology.

However, some variation is unavoidable. The weight and composition of core materials can vary between manufacturing batches, and normal manufacturing tolerances, component variations and differences in material usage may also affect the final finished weight. As a result, actual product weights may differ slightly from the calculated values.

The figures should therefore be regarded as a reliable comparative and indicative representation, subject to normal material and manufacturing tolerances.
