Cylinder - Plain Foam

Clinical Applications & Utility

• Knee Flexion & Popliteal Support: Perfectly sized to fit behind the knee joint, the FP07 facilitates the ideal degree of flexion for specialised projections of the patella or intercondylar fossa (tunnel views).

• Ankle & Lower Limb Elevation: Provides a stable, elevated platform for lower limb imaging, helping to clear the anatomy from the imaging table and reduce soft-tissue superimposition.

• Lumbar Support: When placed under the knees during supine imaging, the FP07 helps to flatten the lumbar spine against the table, increasing patient comfort and improving image quality for AP spine views.

• Precision Dimensions: Measuring 15cm in diameter by 30cm in length, this bolster provides a substantial support surface while remaining compact enough for use on narrow imaging trolleys or within restricted bucky spaces.

• Radiolucent Core: The internal high-density foam is engineered to be fully radiolucent, ensuring that the bolster does not create distracting artefacts on the final radiograph.
