Job Title: Business Development Manager – Radiation Protection Solutions
Location: Ideally based in the South of England (along the M1/A1 corridor)
Territory: East of England, East Midlands, and London
Salary: Negotiable, dependent on experience

Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across a key UK territory, covering the East of England, East Midlands, and London. This is a strategic, field-based role focused on developing new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and expanding Rothband’s footprint within NHS and private healthcare organisations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to achieve and exceed sales targets.

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within hospitals, clinics, and imaging centres.

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with procurement teams, clinicians, radiologists, and theatre staff.

  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations, providing technical insight and clinical application support.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy and maintain a competitive edge.

  • Collaborate with internal teams including product development and customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities and customer interactions using our CRM system.

  • Represent Rothband at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events within the territory.

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a medical sales or business development role, ideally within radiology, theatre, or diagnostic imaging sectors.

  • Based in the South of England, ideally along the M1 or A1 corridor, to support regular travel across the territory.

  • Strong knowledge of NHS procurement pathways and healthcare decision-making structures.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel frequently.

Desirable:

  • Clinical or technical background in radiology or imaging.

  • Experience selling PPE or capital medical equipment.

  • Established network of NHS and private healthcare contacts in the assigned territory.
